Did GM ever install Dana 60 rear axles?

99.9% sure they didn't, 14 bolts and 70s.....Some vans/campers got them, but pre-73s got them more often...

We had a 68 2wd truck that had a d60 in the rear. But pretty sure nothing in the post 73 range

Yeah, I've never seen one, but everyone else has. And by "everyone else" I mean people who have no idea what they are talking about.

Never seen one. I have heard guys say they have a 60 and it turns out to be a dually 70.

Even seen people call 14 bolts 60.

I have seen them in earlier generation trucks

This is exactly my experience.

Just curious then, 1983 C30, SRW, not a 14 bolt... D70? It's my buddies truck, but I recall him saying it was definitely not a 14FF.

I would say D70, I pulled a D70 out of an 87 once to install in a 70 truck that I wanted a better axle under and it was free so why not.
