I know they were requested and I went ahead and did one for the Crew cab. Anyway, Here ya go. They are a 35$ addition including tabs for the tie rod. These will be a phone call option due to the myriad of ends available on rams.

You just made my day. I have been trying to figure out how to best mount a RL ram. Still need to save $$ for all of this though.

One question. Would it be possible to make a razorback clamp for the tie rod end. I worry about how adjustable the toe would be if I welded two tabs to it

It may be possible to do a tie rod clamp. Pretty small though. What size rod ya running.

Maybe I'd just machine something instead of all the welding in such a small place.

I think it is a 1.5", but don't quote me as I did not measure it.
Is welding on the tabs really an issue or am just blowing it out of proportion.

Thats damn sexy:D . I gotta get me one of them. I was just gonna get the bolt on mount that you make but I like the idea of it being an integral part of the cover.

Good Job

I guess I don't think its a huge issue. Once you get it set right weld them on and your done. Lots of guys running the hydro kit I build and everybody seems to be happy.

Sounds like I will just weld 2 tabs on the tie rod then.....

Saving money as we speak

You and I were discussing this yesterday. On my tierod being factory I just turn the sleeve and dont have to remove a rod end to keep the tabs on the proper side so I can just use tabs also:D

That is nice. I'm gonna have to bookmark this. I know I'm gonna need one eventually. What is the total cost, cover with bracket?

Thanks,

Eric M.

I bought one of your diff covers, at the time, I didn't plan on going to hydro assist. How much for just the tabs? Can I send you back the cover and reweld the tabs on it?

Cost cover with the tabs and mating tie rod tabs, $150.

Yep, you can send the cover back and I'll put them on for you no prob. I would prefer it this way. Razors vary a little bit.

Still $35 for the tabs, I'll weld them on for not.

I have kinda pictured it in my head a few times. I would have to say I think it can be done. Not sure exactly how right off but who knows.

nice, is that for full hydro or hydro assist?

Assist. I suppose it could be used with full hydro but most guys that go that far go with high steer and all the bells and whistles. Designed for hydro assist though. Full hydro off the cover might come back to get you!
