Did I just find a replacement OEM soft top for my 1990 Blazer?

So I was poking around a GM parts site and it had listed several parts for what appears to be the factory soft top for my 1990 Blazer. Can this be right?

It lists front and rear "bows", "front w strip", "header left" and "header right", and "Top assy" (this is $465, the others are about $40 - $70 each).

Is that really a soft top?

It's from GM Parts Direct so ... what am I missing here?

Huh. I was not aware of a factory soft-top; I know that in the 70's the dealers sold them, but they were actually aftermarket. Certainly GM didn't advertise the existence of such a thing by the 80's and 90's -- there's nothing in the sales paperwork.

The link loaded for me just now and now won't load any more :( ... if we can get part #'s out of it, that would tell us something...

I tried to buy the top proper

These part numbers were not found in our database: 4616. The part numbers you seek have either changed to a new part number or no longer available from GM. Please email [email protected] to verify the correct part numbers needed.

(There was also one for the full-tops, but that's as may be.)

YES there was a soft top option. My 73' K5 has the factory windshield rail that holdes the from of the soft top. I've seen the after market rails and I'm positive mine is factory.

So it's made by another supplier? So are most parts in most cars. There have been many add-on packages available over the years sold as new on lots with parts covered by warranty and available at the parts counter. Even if you don't consider that "factory", I think you can still refer to it as "stock".
