I was reading the specs on the differant brands of springs and the Tuff Country 4 in. springs I just ordered last week only have 3 leaves. The rest of the brands all have 4 or 5 leaves in there packs. Are these gonna give me a full 4 in. lift?? Are they gonna sag??? I thought I would try a new brand, but now I'm not sure I made the right choice!!

They'll give you the lift, but they'll probably be stiff. A few thick leaves means stiff and lots of thin leaves means soft.

my 2.5 inch tuff country springs had 5 leaves and the overload.Maybe they just stated the wrong number. My 2.5 inchers road very nice but i removed the overloads and made one look like a w.

Damn it! I was under the impression that these springs were soft and flexy!

Tuff Country springs have the softest advertised spring rates that I've seen. I think the chart on COK5 still reflects this. I put the 4" EZ rides on around Sept. and can definately tell the difference over stock springs, especially in the rough stuff. As far as lift goes I'm still taller in front than in back with the 4" blocks in the rear so you will definately get 4" of lift. I have 2" rear Tuff Country springs on order to go with a 4" shackle flip that should get me level again...

My .02 cents,

The front springs have 3 leaves, the rear have 5 and an overload.

I wouldn't worry, man. Number of leaves doesn't tell everything. People on this board swear by tuff country, i dont think you went wrong.

I ordered TC 3" and when I said for a K5,, he said "Oh,, I'll send 3" fronts and 4" rears"
My fronts have 3 leaves,, the rears have 6.

I have the 3" EZ rides with 4 leafs in the front. They ended up being closer to 4" but that's OK. They for sure haven't sagged and several places that have worked on my K5 have commented on it's ride.(good comments)

I also have 4" TC springs that have 3 leaves in them. They have more of a arch than the ones with more leaves, I think that they have about 5.5" of free arc which means that they will give you the lift when the weight is put on them and they will be a great ride. Don't worry, I think you will like them.
