So the other day before fueling Big Ugly I did the usual before hand prep. The proper fuel treatment amount and then an ounce of ND30w oil for each gallon of diesel I'd be putting in...

...then to my dismay I realized I had just poured in a few ounces of the Shell 15w30 diesel oil...:eek1:

I immediately dumped in the ND30w with maybe a bit extra to aswage my guilt followed by the 10 gallons or so of diesel.
Started right up and took me home but I haven't touched it since then.

Did I screw up?

A little oil won't hurt it. They aren't called "oil burners" for no reason. It might run a little sluggish or smoke a bit more than usual :rotfl::haha::rotfl::haha:, but it shiould be ok.

If it smokes more than usual on start up the neighbors will call the fire department...

...we'll see tomorrow...it's about time to wake the beast for it's weekly run up.
