I am still a firm believer in those old amps of yesteryear

Yes sir. I am repairing an Autotek 7600 now and I have some Audio Controll single line equalizers to go with it.

Outbid on that Clarion amp, so looking more and more like I'll get the Phoenix Gold.
Bidded alittle more on the Clarion APA4320. I'm only bidding up to the same amount as the Phoenix Gold amp's buy it now price (Including shipping figured in on both items).

7 hours too go. In just under 7 hours the auction ends on that Clarion APA4320. If I get out bid, I'll just use the buy it now on that Phoenix Gold Octane R5.0:4 .

Got out bid on the Clarion amp so I went ahead and used the "Buy It Now" for the Phoenix Gold Octane R5.0:4 4-channel amp.

I don't know much about these new amps and there ratings. Its seems hard to believe that you can by a 650watt amp for around $100. I know back in the day I ran fosgate punches like the 45,150, and 650. I think I've still got the 45s. My friend still has my 650. I've got a Hotset up 225? (I think these were made by orion) I like this amp, seemed to put out some good power but I don't really know what the rating is. I've got an alpine v12 4 channel power regulated that I use to run my mids and highs. This thing came from the factory with a testing certificate of 44watts a channel and I paid like $525 for it. Its nice but I wouldn't know what to compare it too in todays audio world. I've got an old ass 1xx something kenwood, it does pretty good but again I don't know the exact output. Sad thing is I've got all of these amps, 2 10 audiobans, infinity componets with crossovers, and tons of other wiring and crap in a big plastic tub sitting in the shop with nothing to put it in. Since selling my s10 all I have are K5s. I could put some of it in the DD 87 K5, I love music but I think I love the sound of a hp more. :doah: Its got a nice pioneer cd player with the changable motion organic? display (like a 7000? series) pushing two blown 3.5s in the dash. :o

I got it on Ebay, the place has like a large stock of them. I seen places like Crutchfield selling the same amp for over $200.00. Prices on electronics have come down quite a bit over the years. This will be used in the Alero too power the Infinity Kappa's.

How did you like this amp? What Model do you have? I want to do a all Alpine stereo, I already have a CDA-7837 and a ERE-G180. So I'm looking for one on ebay right now...

Boy you talking about old Punch Amps (Punch 45,75, 150, 300, @ 650's) I loved those amps..... Wish I still had them. I still run a PA-1 in one of my Blazeres.... Orion made the HCCA-225 (red cheater amp), Ive owned them also along wiith GX-180's.... Wish I still had some of them... I like the old school stuff..... the amps I'm running with the PA-1 are Rockford 400a4, and 160a2..... If you want to get rid of the Alpine or Rockford PM me....

Its like this one but mine is amp power regulated. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Alpi...38638QQitemZ8008086652QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW I really like the amp, nice built in crossover and good clean power. I don't know if ever I'd sell any of them I may get the urge to rock some beastieboys again someday. ;) or blast "one". Like I said I just don't know enough about these new amps and speakers to get rid of what I know works.

Man those were the days..........
