i have to say it was pretty easy, i had a buddy help me set everything up, i had everything tore out for him in advance and i think i can do my own gears now!!! /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Front or rear?? I need to do my front when I put in the 14bff. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

They arent hard. It just makes it easier with some knowledge and all the correct tools, that makes such a big differrence. As long as the patterns good and you made sure the bearings were seated and crushed the crush sleeve it should be good!

DANA 44 w/ 4.10 gears. Rough but rebuildable condition: $15.00 + ship.
Front Dana 44 hub to hub, 8 lug complete on stout pallet: 415#
It's what I paid for it, but I'd rather wait on a D60.

Depends what axle. 10b are the same, just takes longer to get the axles out. Dans have shims to set the preload not a crush sleeve.

it was a rear. just put my 2nd break in 10 miles on it tonight 1 more to go!!! /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif it was a nice learning experience now i can do the blazer once i get around to it.
