Did READY WELD go out of buisness?

Thinking about getting a trail /out door welder and was deciding between a ready weld 2 or making up my own stick welder setup. Both would be run off multiple 12v batts. Found a decent deal on a used ready weld 2 but when i checked the readyweld site its down and the contact number inopp. Im kinda hesitant to buy a product i cant get repalcement parts for. Please let me know if they are still in buisness. Also i would appreciate opinions between flux core and stick welding for a trail /out door portable batt opperated welder. Thanks mike

Like i said the site has not worked ive been checking for weeks. Everywhere i look online shows out of stock or discontinued. The only cust service number i could find online was from one of there instructions pdf and it was being used by another company now. Their you tube and face book have not been touched in years. Not looking good. Ive got a line on one id like to buy buy dont want to buy something i cant get parts for. Might just make my own stick welding kit cheap easy and reliable.

Appreciate the response. There are several other options but the ready weld seemed the best of its kind. May just make my own stick welder kit have not decided yet.

Saw those also they are pretty cool but having their own batterys makes them heavier spendier and one more thing i have to buy batterys for .
