Even rearranged some sheetmetal in the rocker panel.

A little camera angel makes it look even worse :)

That is cool! I'd loved to see that area . That one picture looks like - if the truck starts to slide on them little rocks - there would be know stopping:eek1:

good lord! 10,300' !!

my poor 6.2 would need a turbo to weeze out any power at that altitude. these threads are making me jealous

glad to see some of the bretherin are keeping the ck5 site honest though.

I went wheeling 2 weeks ago in the Rockies. Crossed the Continental divide 3 times at 12,000 feet plus. Was home by 8:30 pm. Is just too cool.

Oh ****. Was this one really that steep or is it camera trickery?:eek1:

A little of both :) Probably bout 10 degrees of camera trick and the rest steep. Use the trees in the background as reference, but you can see in the suspension of the truck that it is still off-camber....

Trees grow straight up. Rotate the pic until they do and it's not such a big deal. But very neat pics of some beautiful scenery.

Where were these pics taken? Looks like fun. I was all over the Telluride area of Co last year... everything above treeline looks the same to me.

Hey, there's more than one type of rig showcased here!

Sunlight Basin, Wyoming - just east of Yellowstone.

That's MNorby in the picture - ask him about it :)

Mike, pics look awesome, your rig inspired me to build what I have now. In fact your detailed pics on how to mount the body to the cab helped me with not chopping it up as much as I though I would need to. What is your buddy carrying in his thigh holster?
