Make a 15x10 6x5.5 steel wheel? Like factory, base model steelies, that retain a dog dish hubcap. I know they have aftermarket rallies that are 15x10s, but im a dog dish kinda guy, and ive got some 15x10 aluminum mickey t's, but base model steelies are my thing. Tires i have are 32x11.50 or 12.50 r15s (been a while since i looked at them, got them new with the truck). I think the military k5s used 15x8 steelies.

Well, i havent seen any of them for sale locally but i was just wondering if they ever made them. I kinda like odd options, my 77 2wd has 16x5.5, 5x5 bolt pattern wheels. They only used them on special order government and utility trucks. I bet they made a 16" 1/2 4x4 wheel also for same people.

15x10 would be wide for 32x11.5R15's and still a bit on the wide side for them if they are 12.5's (which would be an odd width for 32's).

Military Blazers all had the GM 15x8 steel rally. Painted green and no trim rings obviously. 4" of backspacing.

Where did you get that info? I had a '79 2wd Blazer with those wheels and I don't think it was ever a government truck.

And I agree, 15x8's would be best.

Well, you didnt see many of them on civilian vehicles at least. I thought about that when i posted, but i guess i should have been more specific, sorry. Ive got 2 sets of 5 right now though :D plus 3 junkers that a yard tried to scam me on, werent worth the shipping they tried to charge me, luckily got my money, and they didnt ever send for the wheels.

Guy says he has a set of 4 15x10 steel rallies (not dog dish but steel) for 50 bucks. I think i may call him up on them.

He only wants 50 for em. says they are 10's. But are you guys suggesting against 10s? I know with an 8 it sorta protects the bead a little better, well in theory.

Those look like the 8's I just sold. Is he measuring all the way across the rim? A lot of people do that and get confused about the "true width" of the rim. The size should be stamped on the backside of the rim too.

If those are factory then they sure as hell aren't 15x10's.

I assumed they may be the wheel vintiques remakes, but your probably right with the ammount of wear they have. Just has centers, which i dont mind. 50 bucks if they are striaght and the lugs are good its worth it.

That's what made me think original 15x8's as well.

$50 is a good price if they're straight. I just GAVE a set away for $20 since I just needed them gone before my move.

if you ever go w/a bigger & wider tire & actually need 15x10's..Stockton wheel can widen the 15x8's to 10'', but w/a 12.50 tire i would use the 15x8's, & if your tires are 11.50, definitely go w/the 15x8's

I'm running my 18.50'' wide 44's on 15x10's & they don't look to bad...a 15x12 would probably would look a little better but i bought these tires cheap used(50% tread for $400, that's the price of 1 new 44) and i got the 15x10's cheap from summit in bare steel w/2.5'' bs so they would fit my d60f w/o any grinding,..then had them powder coated..

i have to run a pretty low pressure in the tires so they don't crown real bad on the narrow 10'' wide wheels. after these tires wear gone & i have to buy new tires i plan on stepping up to some 17'' or 18'' aluminum wheels w/4'' bs, the rim size depending on what is offered in the tires i get...probally new 44'' TSL's or possibly 49'' IROK's and i think they make them for 17's, but i don't think they are available for a 18'' wheel....yet.

Its just for my halfton ten bolts, if i ever buy bigger tires it will be in 16 minimum, 17" prefered size for when i go to 3/4 tons (looks a ton better to me than a 35/15 inch, too much sidewall imho)

15x10s came with truck, so i assumed it put same size back on, but if i get some steel 8s for cheap id swap them out since tires arent on rims yet and i have my own changer, well dad does at least.

Yep just go with 8's. If your set on getting 10s then take a look on summit. You could get brand new ralles in any lug pattern, backspacing, and width you want for around $200.

If i were to get brand new rims id probably just get cragar soft 8's, granted no stock centercap or hubcap, but just as good looking rim. OR the v star or whatever their 5 spoke steelie is.
