Hi Guys, The MI title on my outfit says K10 Blazer. It was Air Force. Did Chevy really make one, or was the title just wrong? Gopherkiller

Don't know myself but check out this military vehicle site, I found it when I first got intrested in Blazers.

All Blazer's & Jimmys are labeled k10 That stands for 1/2 ton.Mine is like that to. K5 is just there name for it like silverado or jimmy. Dan

I think GM used the K5 designation to differentiate between the half ton pick-up and the half ton utility body 4x4...
Mine is officially a 2dr station wagon according to my registration.

Rene, The Brady-mobile has nothin' on your station wagon!! LOL. Why do they do that? Mine has the same designation.

Why do people keep calling it a Bronco!!!!!

hmmm .. my title shows the make as CHEV, the model as V10, and the body style as UTIL.

Red 86 Toyota 4Runner (for sale $2000 obo)

My granddad's been having hell with the insurance company trying to convince him that his K5 is an S10. They've even looked at it (With K5 proudly displayed in chrome) and still say it's an S10. Funny part is the same agent/company calls mine a K5.

I'm not creative enough to comeup with a new signature

I wish that they would classify my k5's as s10's. Wouldn't that make the insurance cheaper??!!

k5woody I Don't Understand The Jeep Thing Either!!!

No way - Makes it more expensive. He pays close to 50 bucks more every 6 months than I do, for a truck that's one year older.

when a vehicle is titled for the first time the title clerk designates what vehicle is usually pu, suv,wagon,2dr,4dr,ect. so it is all up to what the title clerk types in as a designator for the vehicle in it's initial titling.

No matter where you go; I've already been there!

Its designated as a s/w because it has a back seat.Take out your seat ,remove your top ,and find the right cop and you can get a ticket for false registration.I dont remember the exact wording on the tickets but if you have an open cargo area with no seat they say it has to be registered as a truck .How do I know?CHP pulled me over for it and ticketed me for it in my K5.Same CHP pulled over my friend in his 4 Runner for the same thing. The seat was an option in his truck and his didnt have it.They say that your dodging DMV fees by registering it as a s/w and that we should have changed it to truck when removing the top and seat in the cargo area.

All work and no beer makes Frizz a dull boy
