i should have probably mentioned this earlier in the game. it seems a lot of people are looking for diesel swaps or are at least considering them. if you want a diesel k-5 go where i went..... the u.s. govt... there are thousands of k-5 blazers that are being sold all the time, for CHEAP! i paid $1700 for mine and it runs. most of the k-5's and other military veh's are low mileage, but they sit for years also.... so the seals arent in the best condition. the site is no secret. it has been published in 4 wheeler magazine, as well as several others. the site..... www.govliquidation.com set up an account with a valid credit card, cuz thats what they bill. you will have to pick up the veh wherever it is so consider that when you look. go to the locations tab at the top of the page and scroll down to your state, browse away. i'll warn you now, you can spend lots of time on this site looking at all the crap the govt gets rid of. enjoy!!

Looks interesting... What keywords do you search with? I tried K/5 and Blazer and got nothing.

you may try m1008 or chevy. the keywords dont always work, they usually give you something not related for some reason. you can click on the word vehicles on the home page under search by category. that will bring up another page, click on 2320 trucks and tractor wheeled veh's. and browse through it. there may be a few or a hundred depending on how long ago the last auction was.

They are actually rated as 1.25 tons in the military. The light switches are for black out mode, night driving, stealth stuff.

I want of the 3+3s, if they were only 4x4. Was the flatbed a BB or diesel?

the 5/4 ton chevy trucks have 4.56 gears and a detroit in the rear, all are diesel except a few that went to the airforce. and my original post should have said m1009, my mistake. pretty cool site though. you can even buy hummer wheels and tires for the hmmwv

if you are trying to snag a 60 be sure to check the truck because sometimes they get swapped for 8 lug 10 bolts
