diesel conversion

I used to own a 1975 chevy that had a perkins diesel in it. it hauled balls. thats why i want to drop in the diesl in this one /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif /forums/images/graemlins/woot.gif

Haven't done a swap on a newer body style. You might be farther ahead to just sell yours and buy one with the TD option. They don't seem to hold too high of a resale value, being a two door and all.

I've owned 4-6.5TDs, 3-6.2 n/a's and 2 dodge/cummins. I am really considering swapping my 12v into my '91 sub. Actually I want it in my '00 crewcab but can't justify cutting /forums/images/graemlins/grind.gif up a truck that isn't paid for yet.

Depends on the deal he can get on the motor (or donor vehicle). I got my 6.2 donor '87 C10 for $100.
