How's this for a GM diesel?
1978 K30 crew cab, stock exterior with a funky diesel idle.
It has a 6V-71 Detrioit Diesel and 5sp clark trans with divorced t-case.

Seen it first hand. The guy bought it used like that, some farmer I think had it.
I have the guys name and #, will try to get some pics some day. He is only 20-25 miles away.

What is that? Is this engine a stock one from a truck? Have you some specs?

I am dreaming to do a swap with a real truck engine from Mercedes R6 with 391ci, 279hp at 2300rpm and 815lbs-ft between 1250 and 1500rpm. /forums/images/icons/tongue.gif
