diesel oil change question-filler tube location-i sound dumb

oook so i bought a diesel a few months ago and need to change my oil now... i have everything and am ready to drain but im not sure where to add oil to... i know there is a filler tube, but am not sure where-haha

help me out so next time i wont look so retarded.

Diesels usually fill into a valve cover OR gearcover. I've never had a chev diesel, but its a cap....round, about 2"-3" diameter.

theres no breather hole on the valve cover and idk what the gearcover is

help me out guys?

Front........ middle.......... directly above water pump.....round black.....yellow writing..........probably has an oil can logo

This is a 6.5L, but the oil fill is in the same place on a 6.2L

Is it a 6.2 or 6.5? If it's a 6.5 with a manual IP do you have an optical sensor on the timing gear cover? I'm building a 6.5, manual IP and trying to figure out how to hook up a tach. Thought maybe the optical sensor would give me a signal I could use.

That's ok, the new pic shows enough of the cover I can see there isn't an optical sensor so I got my answer anyway

Colby if your pink dispenser is discharging anything with the consistancy of oil get yourself to a doctor! Emergency Room if it looks like used oil!
