I'm at a point to buy a blazer. Family is growing so my truck won't work. I need some help deciding on a CUCV or getting a blazer with a gas engine. Need to get decent gas mileage but still want to hav a decent rig. I've had 2 blazers before and loved them that's why I'm going back to them. Help please I'm unable to make my own mind up

I have had four blazers. One with a 305, one with a 350, one with a big block 396 and my current one has a diesel. The Diesel by far gets the best fuel mileage of all of them, and in my opinion is the funnest one to drive. Its close to the big block in fun. But i really like being able to drive it every day.

U hav the 6.2? I have been leaning more toward the diesel but it's getting harder and harder to find one that won't break the bank. I hav been on CL and eBay for a week straight. Everytime I hav a free minute. Still no luck. Keeping my fingers crossed and saying a prayer

Save the time just buy a CUCV and be done with it! Diesel all the way baby! :D

If you're gonna use the rig as your daily driver, then by all means go with the diesel. Unless, you get a deal too good to pass up on a gasser K5 like I did.

Those prices are ridiculous. I paid 2600 after tax and title for mine. However the guy I bought it from got it from government auction for 800 bucks. Check out http://www.govliquidation.com/ I think that's the site a lot of people are getting them from.

Yep those prices are crazy!!! Everytime I made a bid I got outbid, like it was automatic or something. Whatever, there's a guy I was talking to too but I think he flaked out! Damn

I have owned 2 blazers, one with a stock TBI 350 and my current 6.2 Diesel. So far, I like the diesel much better and the mileage is much better too.

Been to the govliquidator site and there is nothing anywhere close to me. I'm willing to drive but not to Ga or MA

Love my 6.2. Beats the hell out of my 350. It has a reputation of being gutless, but it dosnt seem any different than a tired 305/350. And with Cucv its fine. My trucks a beast
