Did anyone see diesel power gear giving away that’s sick looking K5. Just curious if anyone would happen to know the wheel and tire set up they have. Or have a guess on the size of tire and rim. I am liking the set up but not sure what it is. I would like to know the tire manufacture in size. Looks like possibly a 15 inch wheel I included a picture below if you haven’t seen it yet. Thought somebody on here may recognize the tread pattern

1986 CHEVROLET K5 BLAZER

6.6L LBZ Duramax

Super Duty Axle Swap

8" Lift

40" ProComp MT Tires

17” Dirty Life 9304DT-2 Wheels

KC HILITES Pro6 Gravity Light Bar

with Custom SMCO Mount

8" of lift and it still looks like the tires are going to rub.

Running them with out rubbing on cement and off road are two different things. I run 38s on 4 inches of lift, with the front axle an inch forward they didn't rub on cement. As soon as you try to articulate the suspension is when you have to trim

Thanks. Impressive

Ok, pics are dramatic, spec sheet is impressive. The problem is the goons that assembled it. Unless something has changed, the build quality of the previous giveaway trucks was good for TV, but not up close and personal. The fact that the fenders are not cut with the 40's should be the clue that these guys build pavement pounders and not wheelers.

Reminds me of this truck I've seen on IG before, another total pavement princess with uncut fenders. I can see that DB got their (ripped off) inspiration from this truck. Screenshot_20211127-103325-324.png

Hardly a clone. Coils vs leafs, DS drop vs PS drop, etc. I don't dig the eBay grill and painted stock bumper.

I kinda hate myself for liking that grill.....

Me too. The 2nd IG truck looks better, I really like the tall skinny look of the 40's. Just painting the core support on the Diesel Brothers truck would have helped a ton.

I think I would make the lettering on that grille more like the 69 trucks but larger.
