Diesel sending unit for a suburban tank.

what size tank? if its the 30 or 31 gallon i have one. i think they may be the same depth as the 40 gallon but im not sure

my dad bought an 86 m1009 body and frame. i would think that it has the 31 gallon tank in it, ill compare it to the tank in his 85

40 gallon tanks are deeper than the 31's... and I thought the Blazer and Suburban tanks are different between the 31 and 31 gallons for each body style.

yeah i think i do have a 31, need a liter conversion....

ok I have a 32.5 gal per fill up so i am good.

you are correct, just looked it up on gastanks.com, the 40 gallon tanks are 13 1/8" deep and the 31 gallong tanks are 12 3/4" deep.
but the 25 and 31 gallon tanks are the same for the blazer/jimmy and the suburban.

the tank i have is a 25 gallon so the sending unit won't work.
