Diesel to gas??

I have a line on 1986 2wd 3/4 ton. I plan on going to look at it tomorrow. Anyway he says it has a pretty straight body but it has a blown head gasket in 6.2 diesel. I really just want it for a cruiser but was curious as to how much would be involved in swapping it over to gas. Or what is the possibilty a head gasket could just be replaced? I don't know much about diesels so any help is appreciated.

I'd fix the head gasket. Better in the long run, at least in my opinion.

If you have to be emissions tested, that can introduce a whole new can of worms.

If it's just a head gasket, I'd fix that, myself.
