is the steering pump from a diesel the same as one from a gas? id use it with a steering box ment for an older truck (flare style lines, instead of o-ring that is currently on truck). im running the same setup on my gas truck with the flare adapter (#1 in the pic below). what i want to know is, will i be able to do the same thing on the diesel pump, or is there more than one line that is different (more than one fitting that needs to be swapped out)? hope that makes sense:doah:

AFAIK, a diesel pump is the same as a gas engine hydroboost pump. I used a diesel pump on my K5 when I went hydro.
