dieseling

Idle speed too high, timing, top end carbon deposits, gas quality, carb needs rebuilt.

you didn't say what carb it is. both holley and eldelchoke are not tuned for your application 100% everything still needs to be fine tuned after they are put on the truck

My Blazer is stock, with all the emissions stuff still there. I have found out it prefers 12btdc. You will notice a performance increase if bumped up a little as long as it's not pinging. I am connected to full manifold as per the hose routing diagram, QJet is not electronically controlled. I'd try timing, be sure there are no vacuum leaks and check the cats for flow. Maybe you can come up with something if you try a search.

If I remember right the only thing on a edelchoke you can do is adjust the two front screws to the max vacumn setting.
Sorry gave up on elelchokes a while ago Holley is the only kind I play with now

There is something to do with the choke setting for electic choke that will make it diesel if it isn't set right
