looking at mostly diff guards but covers as well just looking for something diffrent...there are a ton of companys that sell them so post em up!!

the ovbious
diy4x
ruffstuff
solid

who else??

I have a Solid on my 14bff. Looks awsome and seems strong as chit without the need for an aftermarket guard. Now I just need to install the axle.

got the razorback front and back. Even shaved it a little in the rear and it doesn't leak. Great price, quality construction.

I always wanted to get one or both from molten image design, but im not sure if they are still around or not. I remember they did a review/comparo of them in one of the 4wd mags back in 02 or so and theirs stood up to being run over by a bulldozer. I know they still have a phone number listed but i have never tried to call to see if they are still in buisness.

Blue Torch Fab diy diff cover's front and rear (diy are the you weld it up yourself, saved alot of $$)
Pinion guard is DIY4x4.
All three have been extensively used and abused.

I've got both front and rear Ruffstuff covers on mine. You might want to check the vendors forum as Dan has a 15% off of anything sale until sunday. :deal:

Kerts stuff is top notch as well and i would have no problem running his covers had i not already bought the Ruffstuff covers a couple years ago. I don't think Kert even offered covers when i bought mine anyways.

PM Midwestern4x4Parts, he made me a good deal on ruffstuff covers. I think he has a post in the vendor section too about em

im looking for the company that makes diff guards like theese (theese are homemade but i know someone makes them as well)

Maybe I'm just cheap, but I beefed the stock covers at home using some scrap metal, the welder, and couple of hours of my time.

Mine are around 7 years old and I don't think the guy who made them is in business anymore.

Thats what I was thinking too. I have a simple two inch wide strip of 3/8 steel that bolts down the center of my Dana 60 front cover.

I have RuffStuff on the 14BFF and I'm getting one from DIY4X for the D60. No need for guards if the cover is 1/4-3/8" thick steel!

No guard will ever be as strong as one of those covers. :deal:
