Diff cover bolts

3/8 x What thread pitch for a D60.
Also what is the length.


I am finally getting around to welding up the huge 3/8 thick cover from Gravelmaker. Now I need new bolts, plus a little longer.

16 threads per inch. Unsure on the length you would need, My cover came w/ bolts. I would guess 1.25-1.50" though.

1.25" sound right.
I think when we did this to Ira's (Sandawgk5's) he bought 1.5" and it was a little long.

3/8-16x1" is fine if your diff cover has a 3/8" flange.

I took a stock bolt to lowes, matched the thread, and got longer bolts

I bought 1.25 and they were too long. My diff cover had the short bolts in it like 5/8" or something like that is why I had to get new ones. I seem to recall your were longer than mine but not sure.

I bought 3/8-16X1.25 socket cap screws. Having my ram mounted to my diff cover I wanted to make sure I had sufficient thread engagment on all of the bolts.
