so how much dose an 14ff take? I'm in the middle of swaping out the 14sf for the FF and down to point of putting in the fluid.

I just did my front dana44 and it took 2 full bottles so I'd guess the 14 would be closer to 3 but I don't know for sure.

3-4 quarts. I used almost a complete gallon in my Dana 70 under my Dodge.

When you fill the rear end (assuming it's bolted in place under the truck) just fill it to the bottom of the plug hole.

I usually jack up only the passenger side and fill it to the bottom of the fill hole and re-instal the plug. Then I let it down and jack up only the driver side for a few minutes and let it down. Then check it when it's sitting level to be sure it's still full. I did it this way when I swapped to disc brakes because I wanted to be sure that the oil made it into the hubs. Mine took almost 4 quarts.

thanks for the tips guys.

got to late so I'll do it tommorow. so tired from wrestling with the 14sf and 14ff.... anyways I got the pig under there just need to hook up the lines for the disc brakes and fill her up...
