just good old 80-90 oil is fine.

read the oil bottle first. some say it has it already and others dont. if not i would to be safe.

GM's service manual says not to use friction additives with the gov-lock.
However, it probably depends what GM spec'd in the first place for fluids...if they spec GL-5(? think thats the one that can be used with limited slip) originally, then that may be why they say not to use any additive.
