1/2 ton status
i have to replace the spider and side gears in my rear 10 bolt. i believe it has the factory gov bomb in it. for whatever reason i cant get the pin out that holds the spider gears. i removed the screw and made sure that it didnt break off. ive hit it with a 3lb hammer and 1/2 in extension and went as far as to use an air hammer on it with no progress. is there something im missing here? on my ole burban with an open 10 bolt diff. the pin slid in and out freely with no probs. is it different with the gov bomb? heres a pic to so you guys can see what it is.
