So quick question, where do you guys have your differential vents located? Whats the best place to put them?

High up if you wanna vent them.

I remember seeing a couple of guys running balloons or something of the like, to provide room for the gasses/fluid to expand, but still be a sealed system to prevent water/mud intrusion.

That's an interesting idea!

Barring that, run the vents at least as high as your engine intake. If you want to get really anal, you can tie all your vents together (front axle, rear axle, tranny and t-case) and vent them all to a common point. I heard that's how Hummers (the real ones, not the poser 2s and 3s) have theirs set up and that's how I'll be doing mine eventually.

Still haven't gotten to that part of my project .

I do intend to tap the hole , or weld a union on so I can use these 120 inch stainless burst proof icemaker lines I sell . Run them up real high and thread them into the tubework .

I tied the t-case trans and front diff together and routed the hose inside the top of the front fender. The rear I ran to the fuel fill area. Try to get as high as you can.
