I know they are not exactly 3rd and 4th generation.

Looking at the difference between 92-99 Suburbans and 2000-2007 (?)

Wife needs a bigger car and we are looking at the newer suburbans.

I have a 91 already and she doesn't like driving it so the newer ones are on the list. There are a few 92-99 suburbans for $2,000-$5,000 around here with high mileage and possibly some engine problems. Some one suggested to get a 97 or newer for the votec motor? Others have said the 94 because its simpler to work on.:dunno:

The 2000-2007(?) seem like they got smaller but more efficent gas milage and better ride quality. Don't know a lot about them.

Just looking for input and feedback before we pull the tigger on one.:D

If it were me, I would try and get the newest I could afford. Less of a chance with major repairs. Good luck!!
