Hey, what is the differnece between early style and later style body bushings? I know that GM changed the floorpan design in'77 and also moved the body mounts outboard of the framerails, but what actually changed with the bushings? Which bushings are different between the two kits in polyurethane? I'm supposing the front mounts for the core support and the front cab mounts are the same.

Any knowledge is appreciated...

Thanks,

CK

Not sure on the Blazers rearward mounts under the floors, but the cab and radiator mounts on the '81 to '91 are all identical shape and size. The '73 to '80 have different size and shape from the radiator to the rear cab mount.

According to the parts diagram in the LMC catalog, the only difference between the '73-'77 and '78-'80 mounts is at the B-pillar (rear cab mounts/ behind front seat area) position. They call for the same parts for '73-'80 at all other mounting points.

cool. i bought a cheap set of body mounts for '73 to '80 on the eBay but I have a '79. Figgered I could make 'em work with some lathework or whatever I had to do. Can't be that different....

The mount on the 73-77 for the B piller is taller than the mount for the 77 up. was the set you bought poly or rubber?
