Hey all, I was thinking of put in some power doors. Im not dead set on it but I have an extra set of doors and an extra harness so I figure what the hell. Now the harness I have would plug right into the fuse box on my CC but on my blazer this isnt the case. My CC is an 89 no power anything same with the blazer but it's an 84.

The 84 is a cucv and im thinking that may have something to do with it. Anyway where can I plug these bastards into?:D

I do believe there is a difference. A buddy of mine told me once the vehicles with power windows have more fuses and more terminal at the bulkhead.
I myself don't have proof.

Only two fuse panel styles for the '81+. I could be mistaken, but I THINK the power windows on the later style (one with the accessory terminals across the top) ran the windows off of the accessory terminals, not out the back which are typically fused at the panel.

The '89 might have a different pinout based on lights. I'm real hesitant with electrical on these trucks to just plug something in and hope it works, because it fits. Instrument panel connectors are a prime example of this. I just verify the wiring either with my eyes, or wiring manual, before hooking up two different year/application components.

Plenty of stuff online, not sure if I ever put the fuse panel diagram in my webshots or not. I'd certainly not use anything other than factory diagrams, everything else (chiltons, haynes) are too generic.
