Difference??

Just like it sounds. A limited slip will allow slip when turning. A locker always sends the same amount of power to each tire.

Limited slips slip! Lockers lock, and that's about it! Lockers are the kings of traction but if you're using it as a DD a limited slip is much smoother and quieter to drive.

Not at all! If you're doing mud, loose trails, axle twisters, etc get a locker. Limited slips would be fine on a DD and mild trails.
I've got a Lockrite in the back. Cheap and effective but a bit jerky on the road . i can live with that though. :D
