I took the old motor out of the K5, and I am putting in an 87 motor... so the flywheels are different. New flywheel should be here tomarrow, but I am wondering if my clutch that I took out will work w/ the new flywheel? Is the mounting bolt pattern for the clutch the same? Thickness the same? Hope so, or I will have to order a new clutch too...

Well if the pressure plate bolts line up, then I think that the clutch disc and all will work. I don't know for sure whether or not it will work, never had anything that new. May just have to wait and see, or find a good parts store to check the interchangeability of it.
