[/ QUOTE ] You can get spacers for the rear (1.5" per side) that will line the tires up with the fronts. Think about that when it's time to rotate the tires. /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif Get spacers here
I have to run different spacing from front to rear I have a dana 60 front and a dana 70 rear from a dually that is 4" wider so the rear wheels have 2" more backspacing than the front. and if they needed rotated I would do it myself they are on beadlocks but it doesnt get driven much on the street mostly trailered to the trails. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
I wouldn't do different rims. I was thinking the same thing. I was gonna look into the spacers. I have 15x10's with 33's on my 76. They tick out in the front, but are under in the rear. I have flares for the truck. They look ok on the front, but on the rear...I think it looks stupid!
Yeah, I run hummer rims with 3.5" front BS and 2.5" on the back. Rotating them is a once a year deal anyway, the hummers arnt TOO bad to dismount, just a little time with an impact.
Did anybody else notice when they did there disk brake swap on the rear with the 14 bolt that there WMS to WMS gained about 1/4"? Not much but I did notice it. What drew my attention to it was the lugs looked shorter. Anyway this thread made me think of it and was curious if anybody else noticed it.
