Different fender idea?

I have to make some extended fenders to make my S-10 hybrid street legal. they will be removeable.
Did anyone see the 'Ultimate Tacoma' that Petersens built for the Ultimate Adventure? The bicycle type fenders they put on it? I think Im going with that idea.
Heres a pic of them... I am going to try to attach the front ones to the knuckle so they turn with the wheel!
Whatcha think?

I think they look totaly GAY!!!:crazy:







But I will probably be running them too once I narrow my truck. They may look bad but they are very functional.:p: ;) :D
 
Open wheel legal here in Douglas County Colorado. :woot:
 
yeah, check local laws. I know here in WA there is a specific amount of tire that can show in both the front and rear of an exposed tire like that. Better to know those kinds of things before you fab up something nice.

I'll prolly do something like that for my K5 when I go S-10. Attaching them to the knuckle is a cool idea too... however you do it, take pics! :)
