I have been thinking about soft top designs. Let's say I made a snap type top with a heavy frame, kindda like the can-back's. What would your opinion be on only having a back window and solid sides? I've driven plenty of vans with no side windows and It was fine as long as you pay attention.

no side windows! NO WAY! If your truck is any kinda lifted then you need side windows and a back window.. A while back when I had my '85 K5 blazer; I had a soft top with a back window and a little kiddy window so I could see... Not enough. Especially for highway driving. I almost took out a guy in a miata because i couldnt see out the side pulling out of a gas station.. But my soft top was a 45 degree :eek1: down slant soft top. It was nice and light though and gave more performance (ie: better acceleration, gas mileage, lighter all around it was cool)
