Dinos git down 2022 and beyond!

There were also quite a few Peterbuilts there, I'm not sure the connection with chevy on those, but there were some cool trucks.
I didn't take a ton of pictures, and most of them were of turbo setups, but here you go.

Wrong body style, but I like the placement of the turbos.

Clean, but would suck to work on.

Correct body style, but wow they used a lot of heat wrap, even on the cold side??? They do have Hydroboost like I do as well.

Beautiful work on the hot side, but it would SUCK to work on.

Correct body style, a lot of guys use the boat headers like this to make their turbo kits.

A big single would certainly simplify some things.

This is the only truck picture I took. You can see a suburban parked behind it.

Do you think one could Uber there and just walk in?

Yes, for sure that would be a good way to do it. They start letting the trucks in at 7am, so that's when I'd try to get there to see them all parade in.

I think club thing would be great. We could all park together. Promote CK5.

Maybe a local could uber for us. Hotels near the stadium were 300+ a night. Down by the 10 and 17 I found some for around 150, close but not walking close

I'm sure there are TONs of Air BnBs right next to the stadium, there are neighborhoods surrounding it.

I ended up having to do some 'adulting things' yesterday. But I live about a mile and a half from the stadium. If you guys wanted to use my place as a meet up next year, you're welcome to.

I'm next to 'Hero's park' and down the linear park isn't a bad walk esp in nice weather.

I'm not a car show guy honestly so you'll need to get other peoples opinions. There was every type of GM truck you could think of there and all the vendors that support them. It was fun, but honestly I waited in line to get in longer than we were there. The picture I took was us "in line" to get in, we got off I-10 near the stadium at about 6:30 and it took us another 30 minutes to get into the staging lot. Ben (Babaganoosh) came from a different direction, was "in line" to get into the staging lot at 4:30AM and somehow we got in before he did.
I didn't get parked in the car show area until 9:50, we walked around the vendor area, had a beer and lunch, walked around the car club area and part of the car show area and left around 2PM.

I was really trying to get ideas for a twin turbo setup in my truck, but even with all that walking and looking under the hoods I only found a half dozen trucks (only 2 in my body style) with twins. If I was looking for a supercharger, there were hundreds of examples of that, exact opposite of what I see at the track.

If I were to go again, I'd do the club thing, you can get your car club registered and set up Thursday night before the big crowd comes in. Then I'd show up early and watch all the trucks drive in. I did see Ben there, but he was hanging out with his friends and we wandered around by ourselves. I wouldn't go again unless it was a group meetup and we had a nice place to hang out between wandering around the show, electric scooters would have been nice too. We must have walked 5-6 miles yesterday.
I agree with this, it was a nightmare and only sleeping a hour and 15 mins the night before was wild. We left around 7pm last night and I went to bed at 11.

I found out they pay for security and people camped out all night but they are somehow paid $7 a hour to watch the parking lot.
