What is with my dipstick on my th350? Every time I drive my truck the dipstick pops out a inch or so and spits a little fluid out. I thought it was building pressure because the fluid was too high, but the level is fine hot and cold. Could my filter be a little clogged or something? What causes this? Thanks.

When all else fails... Check the blinker fluid.

If your PCV (Positive Crankcase Ventalation) valve is cloged it can cause the preasure to build up and pop the dip stick out. For how cheep and easy the are might as well try it.

You might want to check the transmission vent. The tube or vent top might be plugged. There is some air in the transmission, so it is normal for pressure inside it to change as the temperature changes

the dip stick bolts to the bellhousing loosen that bolt and pound it all the way down then re tighten the bolt and see if that helps
