Direct Fit or Universal Cat.

I need to replace the cat on my 88. Its stock system. Ive been looking at the Catco and Magnaflow cats and the question is which one to get? The Direct fit type or the Universal? Which one would "slide" in with minimal work? Im not going to mod the exhaust for a long time. Is the Direct Fit worth the additional cost?

If you are not going to modify your exhaust any time soon, go with the direct fit, and it will reduce your hassles to a minimum.

BTW.. Don't go Catco, their converters are cheap.
