I am trying to put new calipers/pads on my Dana 60 I just bought. I have no idea where these clips go......

My manual doesn't tell me much other than to "install new clips". Since it didn't have any brakes on it when I got it, I have nothing to reference. Is there a good write up somewhere (maybe a few pics)? Help :o

1 clip per inner pad. fits on the bottom tab of the bad. and the square tab on the clip will face the rotor.

this keeps the pad from rattling and also is the squealer tab for the pad to let you know when low so you dont eat a rotor.

some guys run them some dont.

and your pic thay way its posted here. left clip will be left side and right will be right.

nope, all the way at one end, on the little tab that is sticking out. it goes on the bottom side of the pad, as viewed when the pad is installed.

there you go, just make sure when you install the pad, it is on the bottom side, it will keep pressure on the pad so it doesn't make clicking noises when applying the brakes.
