I have a gm 10 bolt front 3/4 ton 8 lug axle. the disc on it has like a metal hub, these axles where off a fulltime 4x4, i am wanting to get new disc but do i have to get the ones with the metal hub around it, i am going to get brand new lock outs for it also. oh yea the the new disc with the hub cost like 100 bucks a piece, without is like 100 a pair!! thats why i am asking.

take a punch and drive all the wheel studs out of the hub. then the hub and rotor will seperate. place the new rotor on and reinstall the wheel studs. drive them in all the way. it sometimes it tough to hit them in, bt make sure they seat all the way in.
