Disc Brakes parts list

Check summit for them. There are a couple of them out there. It is a line lock that you place in the brake line. it locks what ever pressure you have in the line. So step on the brake and push the button.

where would you splice it in?? would you need two or one??

when activated I'm guessing they use 12v at ?? amps so if you were to park it for a while with the line lock E-brake on you would need consant juice to keep it locked up??

Or use a manual one. You just need one going to the rear brakes. I guess you could do two, one for the front and one for the rear.

I saw a manual one on ebay but no where else. should be a simple device to make I would imagine. I picked up the Brake lines and Banjo Bolts today. no sweat. 15 for each line and 5$ for the banjo bolts from the "help" section.

OK I did it. conversion is complete. It was not that easy though. I used D44 calipers and they are all 10mm banjo bolts. I went through a crap load of calipers looking for something that would work and ended up going with the 85 astro van lines. then the backing plates were tapped for (possibly caddy calipers) I had to redrill and retap it out. Ok that done. Being pretty maticulous put it all together only to find an axle washer sitting in the gear oil as I cleaned up. I looked all over for that the gave into the "it must be in there. I would not have forgot it!" shame on me fer not rechecking.

All done and said it is 10pm and I am just getting a shower. somthin so easy can kick yo arse sometimes.
