disc conversion caliper placement???

when u convert a 14 to disc brakes where do u want the caliper to sit?? I know on newer chevys with factory disc brakes it sits the the front, thats where i plan to put unless someone knows otherwise

Well, if they're Caddy or other parking brake calipers, then you gotta place them based on cable routing.

If not, you could put 'em on the front or the back of the axle, as long as the bleeder screws point straight up.

i have caddi calipers and ebrake.i put them on the front so i could route the ebrake lines over the axle instead of under.i have to take them off and face them up to blead them but its worth it not to have to worry about smashing it on the rocks
