for some reason 14bolt ff are just hard to find in the panhandle of fl. so i went ahead and got the 14n sf. seeing how i dont rock crawl just some mud sand hill climbs and trails i figure it could work just fine. so does anybody know of any disc conversions for it? thanx sandypants

Black Widow Performance does/did, but it looks like they are on hiatus, at least last time I checked.

i am just finishing up mine. I definitely had some problems, but many of those are due to elevated stress levels from me building my own house.

I used brackets from ruffstuff specialties, rotors, calipers, brake lines from napa. You will need new wheel studs from a 3/4 ton front axle.

I had some problems getting the cross-shaft pin out, but that is solved now. I should have done this swap during the summer when I did not have so much going on.

I still have to finish the brake lines, install the new MC, and then bleed. I will hopefully be finishing up tonight.

tsm (the link below) now has a kit that has rotors that fit over the axle flange (rotor on the outside instead of inside). You may want to check them out.

I think most of the 14BFF brackets work on 14BSF too. X2 on RuffStuff.

On eBay is a seller who makes bad ass brackets and conversions for the 14SF.

I won some of his e-brake brackets for El Dorado calipers and they are top notch. He sells complete kits for the SF axles, too.

I think he goes by "hardoffroad" or something like that. Need to check my feedback for his note he left me.

Brackets from ruffstuff specialties. Rotors from 85 Chevy 3/4 ton front. You will have to grind some of the rotor face so it will sit flush on the axle flange. Calipers and wheel studs from same 85 Chevy 3/4 ton. I have the part#'s at home for the rubber brake lines that work well at home if you need them.

thanx alot everybody it will be a big help soon as i get back from iraq here in 2 weeks, yea part numbers would help me alot. just trying to keep busy during my 2 weeks off. do you think i will notice any difference on driving with out those heavy drums?

Safe trip on the way back. If you stop in Baltimore I recommend the Hustler Club. Not too far from the Airport Mariot. They'll shuttled you. :D

I don't know if you'll notice a difference driving, but stopping will be a heck of a lot nicer.
