disc like bushings/spacers that fit at the bottom of my T-case shifter

The disc like bushings/spacers that fit at the bottom of my T-case shifter have worn away and I am getting a very annoying rattle from the washers hitting each other.

I can't find them any place, any body out there know where to get them?

1973 'burb with a NP205.

Would it work to just put a set of plastic washers in there as spacers with a bunch of greese?

pics would be nice? I not i would say you best bet would be to call ord or another company that make after market shifter kits for the 205 t-case. they probally will have something that will work or could atleast point you in the right direction

Are you talking about a plastic bushing that goes over the rod before it slips inside the plates? Like these?

don't remember any bushings on mine, maybe thats why it rattles so bad.

i dont have any on mine either but it is a 72.it has a big bolt that holds it in and levers off of into the shift rails.maybe should have it to stop a lil slop though.scott has a good idea of the bronze bushing washer.it wont wear out the case as the bronze is softer than the cast.should work out well.ill put one in next time i pull it out.

This has been talked about before. Few ideas out there but mine is to get bronze thrust bearings which are thin bronze washers to sandwich between the shifter and bolt head. This will firm up the slop. Theres a thread about this somewhere and I have pics of the bronze bearings up, too.

i made a washer out of thick plastic. works great.
