Disk brake question

I just replaced the front brake calipers on my 90 Blazer w/ calipers from NAPA. They came equipped with new caliper bolts. My question is was I supposed to put some type of grease on the bolts or install them with out any lubrication. If anyone wants to know I installed them dry.

You need to put some silicone caliper lube on those caliper pins, did those new calipers not come with a little packet of lube?

No they didn't so I need silicone caliper lube ??

Friend of mine works for Ventura County Public Works maintaining all of the County vehicles, including the Sheriff cars. He was sent to a GM service seminar on brakes. They told him to use dielectric silicone grease. The reasons for this are that it will withstand high temps (as does most anti-seize) and being slicone based it is very hard for water to wash off (harder than anti-sieze even).

Just don't get either on the rotor.
