Someone remind me...

I recall that it's easier to dismount the tire from a specific direction but can't be 100% sure I remember.

My plan was to lay the tire/wheel on the ground with the outside of the wheel facing UP. Then use my prybar/extension tools to pull the top lip over the front wheel lip...... then bring the rear bead up to the front lip and work that one off the same way.

Is that the right direction? I remember one way works, and the other way is almost impossible. :dunno:

There is a right side and a wrong side to start on, I did atv tires by hand for many years, same deal. You basicly want to start on the side of them wheel with the least amount of flat area if that makes sense. One side of the rim will stay flat for a wider area then the other.

I just did this on all my tires. I laid the rim outside up. once I broke the bead , I used lots of soapy water in a spray bottle on the bead of the tire and rim. usuing two small crow bars i would bring the lip up and hold as I used the other bar to bring up another bite. Rmember to make sure the opposite side of the lip you are bringing up, you pushing it down so its kinda going towards the inside of the rim. makes it alot easier. then just keep soaping up the edge of the rim and keep working your way around. It took me about 20-30 minutes per tire/rim to dismount. these were 37/12.50/16.5
