finally got my K5 home yesterday and im having issues

replaced distributor with remanned one from work...worked ok for a day then the module went bad...picked up new module yesterday put it in...everything was fine...got it home last night...ran great all the way home...left it sitting here all day today as i needed to do some fine tuning to it...went to start it up when i got home and i get no fire....so i hooked the MSD 6AL back up and same thing....ive checked, double checked, and triple checked everything.....only thing i have left to suspect is the pickup in the distributor....could a faulty pickup cause a no spark problem?

of course..its the trigger to dump the spark...coil only charging....can you check a coil to see if it builds then dumps?

took the reman dizzy back to work and swapped it for yet another....so far so good...will see what happens in the morning...i definitely need to go get the exhaust fixed monday...that flex pipe stuff is pure crapola

WTF? The module didn't last as long as a burger? Otherwise, I'd be suspicious of a "reman" dizzy.

sounds like you have a cool job
