Where is the best place to get a Stock dist for 89 TBI motor? Autozone has the lifetime warranty for a rebuilt, but is MSD, Mallory worth the extra spendage for a basically stock 350.

Good question. Do you plan oh keeping it basicly stock ?? If so, I'd probley just run a factory dist. and call it good. I do plan on a MSD Dist. and 6AL box for the Camino just because I want that Rev limiter. But I don't see a need for that in a truck.K5Jimmy said:

Just get the stock unit. IMO for TBI, a MSD dist a is not worth the money . Unless you want the billet look. Also MSD modules are not as good as AC Delco. They are more prone to failure.
The stock unit is a good dist. If you want to do an ignition upgrade. Use the money you save and get a MSD blaster or DUI coil.
