I know you guys are probably tired of hearin my ?'s about this 496 im building, but im lookin at distributors now. Got an eye on the MSD #8366. Is this one any good? its $289 through summit, and i dont wanna spend that much $$$$ for something that gives as much performance as a $199 distributor. Also go ahead and recommend me a good coil and set of wires. I hate electrical stuff. Thanks again guys. O yeh this thing will have the edelbrock efi on it.

Nothing 'wrong' with a slightly worked HEI.
I concur, they are good distributors.
Have it bushed and curved, and smack a $50 Accel coil on top of it; it'll run good.
