same problem all have that i half to go recover. thay never check the depth first.

That´s a REAL waterhole.
My dad drove through the water a bit more to the right with his Volvo and there it´s about 2 feet deep. No problem for the Volvo though.

Yes, it does. It´s a Volvo C202. It´s a civilian version of a Volvo militaryvehicle. Guess you don´t see a lot of these in the US.
